Like every year FIFA Interactive World Cup 2016 will kicks off on 1st October; will be the 12th edition of the biggest gaming tournament in the world!
FIFA.com come this year with some new important rules about qualification for the Grand Final. The most important thing is that we will be able to play both Xbox One and the Playstation 4. 🙂
Another big change of this FIFA Interactive World Cup will be the number of qualified players that will increase to 30 seats via the online qualification, enabling more experience for the Grand Final!
This year will be four qualification Regions, with each region offering a number of seats for the Grand Final divided into 1. Europe, 2. North & Central America and the Caribbean, 3. South America, and 4. Africa, Asia and Oceania. Each season, the top player from each of the regions plus the runner-up from Europe will qualify for the Grand Final.
And last but not least will be like every year Host Country Live Event.
The traditional Host Country live qualification event will be the only live qualifier event for FIWC 2016 (The host country qualifier will be for Xbox only). More news on the qualifier event and the destination of the 2016 Grand Final will be announced soon on fifa.com. Stay tuned on my blog for upcoming news about FIWC 2016, and hopefully I’ll be qualified from the first season. 🙂
