After such a great moments at Esport Festival in Belgium it’s time for the recap of it. So I will start with the moment when I’ve left from my city to Otopeni Airport on 2th July. It was a long trip of 4 hours and finally I’ve arrived in the airport at 03:30 in the morning. The flight to Brussels was scheduled at 07:35 so I’ve should wait another 4 hours in the airport (so sick :D). I was lucky because my laptop was fully charged so I could watch one movie until my flight take off.
I’ve arrived in Brussels at 10:30 in the morning and I went directly to train station for a train with Oudenaarde destination, place where I was accommodated. Oudenaarde is situated at 24 km far away to Ghent. I’ve arrived in the Hotel Cesar, Oudenaarde at 12:00 and I went outside for searching some good place to eat. In the evening I’ve waited my friend Ben “toyboy51” Torbeyns for some training sessions. We went in the evening too in the hotel restaurant for dinner and also some beers. Dinner was excellent and of course Leffe beer, one of the best in Belgium. In the second day, 3rd July, I went with Ben in the city for some tourist attractions. After we took some photos, we returned to the hotel for 3-4 hours of training. In the evening we went outside for some discussions with a good result for me. I changed my formation from 4-2-3-1 to 4-1-2-1-2, and my tactics too from counter-attack to default.

It’s 4th July and I’m on my way to Gent Ghelamco Arena, the event will start around 12:00 and I’m really confident in my skills. After the groups was made, I’m in group G with Blackwolf from LowLandLions and Demir. First match was against Blackwolf and I’ve won with 5-3, in the second game was really close, I was ahead 3-1 but he had proved his skills in the second half and in 80th minute the score 3-3. In 90th minute I’ve managed to score the 4th goal and the final score was 4-3 for me, so maximum points from the first 2 games. In the second round I’ve met Demir from Turkey and I’ve managed to get the maximum points again with 3-0 and 4-0 overall. So with 12 points I finished on 1st place in group and I’ve got the qualify for playoff. 😀
The playoff was set by the admin to start on 5th July at 10:00, but after some decisions by the admins of the events first round I played in same day with groups. In first round of knockout rounds I’ve met ECV | Irokus from France. The knockout rounds was played with best of three system. The matches played against Irokus was really closed but I’ve got the win in the end with 2-0 overall.

Here I’m in the second day of the Esport Festival, Belgium. The quarters final will start at 10:00 and my opponent will be ECV | Bruma. Unfortunately after two really tough matches I’ve lost against Bruma, first one at the penalties and the second one in 90 minutes. I want to congrats him for winning the title and hopefully I’ll meet again at the next tournaments as well.
